Keepsake Calico 50% Off, New Patterns

Keepsake Calico is on sale for 50% off from Jan. 10 – Jan 23. With a regular price of $7.99 – $16.99/yd this is substantial savings. And, if you have the Joann App on your phone (and you should) then you can also use those coupons for $5/$35, $10/$50 or $15/$75 which makes for HUGE savings. Time to stock up!

The timing on this sale is perfect, too, because we just got in a bunch of new Keepsake prints. I forgot to get a pic but I know there are some stripes now, in a lot of different colors, and I’m glad for that. There’s also a new daisy print in several different colors. Don’t worry, though. If you’re a Keepsake fan like me then those new bolts will jump right out at you.

The Keepsake wall is my favorite place at Joann’s. I just love to browse all the colors and prints. When my girls were little I made all their clothes and I remember this one skirt that had 4 or 5 rows of calico ruffles. So cute!

I’m in the mood for Valentine’s Day projects right now and, while the Valentine fabrics are also on sale, I don’t want to have a lot of cutesy, hearts and flowers in my stash when the holiday’s over. So I’ve picked up a few V-Day patterns and I’m filling in with Keepsake reds and pinks and blues and yellows and…

Don’t be shy, either, when it comes time to head to the cutting counter. It happens every time there’s a sale on Keepsake. Quilters and crafters line up with carts filled with bolts and bolts of all that fabulous cotton and they all say, “I’m so sorry…” But we don’t mind a bit. It’s fun to see hear about all your different projects and see how everybody combines their different colors and patterns. Bring it!
