You’ll save time when you register online for a Joann Fabrics class and you won’t have to worry about availability!
Sometimes you just want to take the easy way out
Personally, I hate the thought of having to make time to run to Joann’s just to register for a class. Even though I’m there almost every day, if I do have an afternoon with nothing to do I’d rather spend it sewing.
And, honestly? Every now and then I just like to spend the day in my jammies. The last thing I want to do on jammy-day is get up off the couch, get all dolled up to go out to the store.
I also hate the thought of booking a class over the phone. Go ahead.. call me ‘weird.’ I know the phones are answered by the cashiers and in my head I imagine they probably have customers in line, tapping their toes, wishing the cashier would get off the phone and take care of them. The customers get antsy waiting and the cashiers get antsy because the customers are glaring at them while they’re gabbing with me on the phone and I’d rather just not be the cause of so much ‘antsiness.’
But here’s the thing…
We can only fit so many people in the classroom so it doesn’t take long for a class to fill up. If you don’t book early you might not get in!
Your reasons for hesitating to run to the store or pick up the phone might be different than mine, but whatever they are, here’s the solution:
Book your classes online! It’s so easy!
How to register for your class online
First, go to Joann.com. I you don’t already have an account, create one. It just takes a minute and all you need is your name, email address, and a password of your own creation.

To do this, go to the very top, right corner and click where it says “Find A Store.” Type in “Columbus, Ohio” and click on the Joann store located at 4600 W. Broad St, Columbus, Ohio”.
Now, choose your class
To find all the classes that are currently being offered, just click the “Classes” link in the top navigation bar. From there you can browse all the classes.
When you find a class you want to take, just click on the box that says “Register for this class” and you’ll see information about class times and how many spots are still available. Just choose the class you want to attend and you’re on your way.

Donna Anderson 'works' at Joann Fabrics at 4600 W. Broad St. in Columbus, OH. Just look for the crazy old lady behind the cutting counter. As a kid, she ran with scissors and ate paste. She's since found safer, more creative ways to use her Fiskars and Mod Podge. Next time you're at the store, stop by the cutting counter and have a chat! (Just please don't ask me about lightbulbs!)
